During our winter season, between September and the following June, we have presentations by speakers who describe their personal areas of photographic expertise. The club also holds internal and external competitions. During our summer season, from June to September, the meetings are less formal and tend to focus on topical areas of photography and photographic techniques.

Member's interests in photography cover a diverse range of subjects, colour and black and white, print and slide, digital and film. Prospective new members who live in the Newbury area, both beginners and experienced photographers, are always welcome to come along and see what the club is all about. After up to three initial visits prospective members are invited to join the club.

Monthly Workshops

Workshops are held at Shaw Social Club, at 7:30pm on the third Tuesday of most months. These practical workshops, aimed primarily at those club members who are just starting out in photography, cover a wide range of photographic topics, including training in Adobe Photoshop. Details of future workshop will be announced to members at the weekly Thursday meetings.
